What Americans Think Of Abortion?

About a week ago, Cheryl Bates of Healthcare-administration-degree.net wrote to us to share the infographic published below. It shows what America thinks of abortion. As abortion becomes a much politicised debate world-over, we thought the views of the American people might be relevant, or make for interesting debates across Asia as well.

Of course these views are important for yet another reason. Several Asian countries benefit from American aid. In the past, conservative Republican Presidents have issued moratoriums on this aid if the organisations receiving them also support safe abortion. The current government has repealed this law, more popularly called the abortion gag rule. Since it is people’s opinions that decide e leadership, it is important that we know what Americans think about abortion.
